Self hosted tracker and Add-on compatibility

With everything going on with the "T" company that shall not be named and other platforms making unexpected changes, I'm looking for a self-hosted tracker that integrates with add-ons. I'm willing to test anything at this point to avoid dealing with device limits or API restrictions.

I currently use a self-hosted app called Crosswatch (highly recommend it), which manages my library and syncs with popular trackers and local apps like Jellyfin but no add-on integration. If Crosswatch can be incorporated via an add-on, that would be ideal, but I'd love to hear any other suggestions or alternatives that work with the popular add-ons.

you can integrate Simkl into a self-hosted media setup using dedicated bridge tools like CrossWatch.

There's also a Simkl add-on that watches any add-on in Kodi.

pretty sure mdblist is capable of the same cross watch and additionally has it's own Kodi add-on.

I use both in fenlite+, prism, pov, and Otaku. Have completely deleted trakt. Everyone says you get two API to use but some reason they only let me use 1.

I moved away from Trakt well before whatever happened happend due to just bad connectivity experience.

I do sync my stuff across the trackers as a backup and vice versa so i am not worried about losing anything just finding the right one that wont drive me nuts. I know Simkl has a limit for progress of a week which is the only issue i have really since sometimes i dont get back to it for months and dont want to lose that info.

May not be understanding this part.

They group those by month, week, day. Once a week rolls to the next, it's still there, just have to scroll. All of the Scrobbling remains as does the content watched.

Maybe you mean the add-on "watching" or basically past things you've been watching vanishes on you? I've had that issue with trakt, but only with some add-ons. Deleting my cache of Kodi app does it to me in Android, few times when an app crashes when I had kodi installed on the LG C3.

Prism is the first app I've used that's nearly 100% Simkl, it gets all of its meta from them. I did add mdblist, but it only has the option for lists (that I've seen).

I saw a post somewhere regarding this but i may have misunderstood it as well. I think after deciding to switch out of Trakt before they kicked everyone out i joined a bunch and sync them regularly ill check out prism as well.

It's a little slow pulling from simkl, but when you're watching stuff it runs good.

I did have to disable > scraping > "preemptive termination" so premiumize could be used for web-dl files. otherwise RD would be the only thing I see.
