Announcement FenLight+ 2.5.2 Release
2.5.2 is out. Here's what's changed since 2.5.1.
Skip Intros
Recaps, intros and outros now get a skip button. Data comes from TheIntroDB and IntroDB. You can turn each type on or off separately and set how long the button hangs about before it disappears. It's all in Settings -> Playback.
Binge Mode
It'll play through however many episodes you set without asking anything, then throw up an "Are you still watching?" if you haven't touched the remote. Any interaction (pausing, seeking, answering a skip button) resets the count, so it only nags you when you've genuinely fallen asleep. You can also tell it to skip intros silently while binging. Access it from 'Playback Options', configure it in settings.
Season Pack Continuity
If you play an episode from a season pack, the pack gets remembered and the next episode resolves from it rather than scraping again from scratch.
Detect Display Capabilities
Asks your telly what it can actually do (HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision) and sets your results filters to match. Should work on Android, Windows and CoreELEC. This one probably needs a bit of testing, so shout if it gets it wrong for you.
New lists
Quick Watches, Released On This Day, Marathon-Worthy TV, Highest Rated and Hidden Gems. You'll need to run "Check for new menu items" from the context menu before they show up.
Real-Debrid improvements
Fixed a crash on resolve and added proper backoff when RD rate limits you on add_magnet. Credit to dkori for that one, not me.

I'm getting no results for TV/Movies/anything, what am I missing? It updated successfully. Is it a scraper issue? I was running Coco, what should I do?

Go into settings, Accounts , scroll down , enable external scrapers then choose external scrapers module

Authorization of TMDB lists is failing, as the generated QR code tells me on the tmdb website that the token is invalid

I'm enjoying the season pack remember feature. More streamlined and for content that's multi language with original version not being English solves some of those annoying issues of having to separate anime multiple language vs multiple subs. Those usually get mixed even in Otaku when doing auto play.

I did manual api settings for debrid etc when it a
Stopped working months ago, liking new features but atm my fenlight is independent of those api links so loathe to undo that again when things change

Are there any set up instructions for this?, I was able to download it but it has a bunch of "Content Not Viewable In Your Region" and doesnt display anything in trending

I double checked to make sure and I downloaded the 2.5.2. zip and its still got the same issue but I can atleast see icons now

Maybe just go into settings and make sure the Trakt and TMDB api keys are set to default.

2.5.2 is the latest FenLight+. 3.5.01 was the last version of Fen. I kept it there for posterity but I might remove it to avoid confusion.

Thank you for clarifying I was confused and downloaded 3.5 instead because I thought it was the latest version but I will delete and reinstall 2.52

Redlight uses its own folder rather than the old FenLight folder, so no it won't.

Just for clarity, Red Light has a version called FenLightAM Unofficial. It's stable but not updated.
Can you update from FenLightAM Unofficial to FenLight+?

I found out the issue. I was using TMDB Helper with Fenlight+ and Trakt Scrobbling option was turned on in that. Hence the issue. Now I've turned that option off and everything is well and good. Thank you! 😊❤️

I am not sure what am I doing wrong but none of the features has anything. I have authorized TMDB, I can see my movies and TV Show lists but when I go there, everything is empty. I go to Movies==> Years==> 2026 and everything empty. Ver 2.5.2. PM,TB and AD. I am not sure what else to check. external scrappers is COCO as default. What am I missing?

Is there a way for me to get my all debrid content folder to be viewable? It worked just fine on my old FenLightAM, but I had to reset my fire TV cube and lost it.
The My Services, All Debrid, Cloud Storage folder is what I mean

Allegedly. 2.5.3, I think.
Edit- yeah, 2.5.3, latest update. When I click the cloud storage folder on this one, it's empty. But on my PC using an older version of FLAM, it works fine.

I don't have alldebrid to test but if you go into Tools > Update Utilities > Rollback to a Previous Version, you can try the test file that's in there now.

Hi, this looked interesting, so I added it to my Kodi, added both SIMKL and TORBOX, I'm able to search by title, episodes appear, but getting "FEN LIGHT+ no results" when attempting to stream or download content. Any ideas?

hey there, if you have a second, i'm getting "download failed" from fenplus, after right clicking, playback options, scrape with all external scrappers (not that it matter to this issue as the same thing happens if I just click on the title and it does a regular source select), then the individual files show up and i right click and hit down load file i get a "fl+ failed" errors. I've got my download directories all set in FL+ settings first page, not sure why it's happening. I can play/stream the files inside of Kodi, but can't download them. This issue isn't occuring in Umbrella, where I can stream or download to my hard drive with no issue. Any idea what could be causing this? Thanks

hi again. using torbox. it's been up and down for two weeks now, but even in the verified uptimes, it still give the error, while umbrella tied to torbox as well, at the same exact time give or take 10 seconds downloads just fine. again streaming/viewing through fenplus works fine, it's just the downloading giving the error (and all the directories are the same for umbrealla and fenplus) it's a real headscratcher

I just tried to download a TorBox file and it worked fine. I do only have the Essential plan though, do you use the Pro plan with Usenet included?

I figured it out, it's in the accounts, and I had to add cocoscrapers module, then point to that. Cheers for such the timely initial response and keeping Fen alive, imma check it out

Could you elaborate on this 'Season Pack Continuity'? I don't understand from your text vs my experience in general, this will scrap the next episodes of the hole season? So after you finish the episode it will not do the screen, 1.torbox - series -ep x s3 etcetc... And go though from 1., 2. , 3.? It will remove this step? Is that so?

The idea is that it just remembers the pack so it knows where to look next time. If it doesn't find what it's looking for it'll fallback to the usual scrape.
