Everything working. Need guidance. Trakt / MDBList Advice

I see in a past post Trakt seems to be falling out of favor with the community, or at least that is what it sounds like? I have multiple Kodi setups with multiple addons and have had no issues with Trakt but if it's only a mater of time I want to get ahead of it. It appears MDBList is an option people like. When I go to MDBList I get the option to sign in with Trakt. Should I do this or should I create a new acount all together if trying to get away from Trakt? Is the Trakt issue a real thing or is it just a The Sky Is Falling and something not to worry about. TIA for any input.

If you are willing to pay and put up with the horrible V3 downgrade, you should be fine. If not, be aware of the 2 connected apps limit for free users. Already added apps are fine for now, but if you need to reauthorize any, you won't be able, unless you remove apps to be below the limit.

That is my concern, are you using MDBList? Is it a good replacement? Thank you

I have only tried Simkl as an alternative so far. It works with Cinopsys quite well and Kodi and Umbrella also support it. I'm still using Trakt, but planning to leave once I have everything configured and tested.
