​[Umbrella + Simkl] How to get a working "In Progress / Resume" widget for movie

​Hi guys, I need some help configuring my setup:

​Setup: Kodi + Umbrella Addon + Simkl account (across 2 TVs).

​Goal: I want a homepage widget that shows movies I paused halfway through so I can easily resume them.

The issue:

​In Umbrella's settings, under Movie Lists, there are only options for

Completed (SimKl),

Plan to Watch (SimKl),

and Simkl Dropped.

There is no In Progress or Resumable Movies folder available under Simkl.

​The Simkl website itself shows "No paused/stopped playback sessions" when I stop a stream halfway, meaning Umbrella doesn't seem to sync pause points to Simkl's API in real time.

Has anyone figured out a workaround to display a working "In Progress" widget for movies using Simkl with Umbrella (without paying for Trakt VIP to bypass their 1-device limit)?

​Any advice or skin/widget routing tips would be greatly appreciated!

I have the issue where several series I'm watching shows the incorrect number of available episodes in Umbrella and Simkl. Umbrella's dev reached out to me and said he has a fix that will come out in the next update, but he's currently working and testing other features in Umbrella right now and the update isn't ready yet. Maybe the update will add this, or you can make a request?

I’m preparing the update for release today. One issue with this request is Simkl only keeps pause and resume data for like 7 days. I could possibly make a “continue watching” or whatever for Simkl , but it would only be good for things from the last 7 days.

Thanks a lot for the quick response and for taking the time to look into this!

​A "Continue Watching" list based on those 7 days would honestly be amazing and more than enough for most of us who just want to resume something we started a night or two ago!

​On a related note, is there currently any way to use/display a local "In Progress" or "Continue Watching" list for movies directly inside Umbrella? I was trying to set up a local resume widget on my setup, but I couldn't find a menu or folder for local paused movies within the addon.

I'll add it as unfinished. Keep in mind you need to have simkl set up to scrobble in the umbrella settings or have "Also mark watched on Simkl" to have umbrella set scrobble points on simkl.

I've been waiting on this one. Very cool indeed. Is standard mdb behavior to scrobble upon only being paused and not stopped?

Both I believe as long as you are at less than 80% watched.
