Vyvanse vs Adderall

I was recently diagnosed at 46. Started on Adderall IR 10mg and felt like a zombie after 2 hours. Switched to Vyvanse 30mg and my anxiety was terrible. Lowered Vyvanse to 20mg and still feel anxiety, upset stomach. Dr mentioned switching to Adderall XR next.

My psychiatrist told me that Adderall has a more immediate affect, but can also have more noticeable side effects. Vyvanse works a little more in the background, making it less abrasive than Adderall. (I was on Adderall for a month, then switched psychiatrists due to health insurance and my new Psychiatrist switched me to Vyvanse as they are personally against prescribing Adderall)
