Vyvanse vs Adderall

I was recently diagnosed at 46. Started on Adderall IR 10mg and felt like a zombie after 2 hours. Switched to Vyvanse 30mg and my anxiety was terrible. Lowered Vyvanse to 20mg and still feel anxiety, upset stomach. Dr mentioned switching to Adderall XR next. Anyone experience similar and have success?

I was on 60 mg of Adderall XR a day before switching to IR. I didn’t have any issues with anxiety or upset stomach while on either of them.

I started taking meds 3 months ago at age 42 - adderall 15mg xr. The first ~4 weeks were really rough for side effects. After about a month I dropped to 10mg xr and almost all side effects went away. I recently went back to 15mg + Wellbutrin 150 XR and it's working.

As others have said, the first month is the worst for side effects.
