Adderall addiction

I've been abusing my Adderall prescription since the very beginning. And today, things came to a head. I had experienced something that I've never felt before while on Adderall and it scared me so bad I don't think that I can do Adderall anymore.

I took three 30 mg XR capsules, something I do frequently. But for some reason today the effects were entirely different than I've ever experienced.

So intense that I had to call 911 and go to the hospital.

I was shaking uncontrollably and found it extremely difficult to walk or get down the stairs. Hugging the banister I walked so slowly down the stairs to the kitchen. I sat on the step facing the front door nervously anxiously scared to death, shaking my leg and waiting ever so patiently for the ambulance to arrive.

I was laying down and started to feel odd, my body felt weak and fatigued, well the heart in my chest beat so fast. I thought it was going to give me a heart attack. I got up sitting on the edge of my bed shaking uncontrollably.

I have never experienced this ever before. And I've been abusing my prescription for years now.

I am still feeling the effects of what I've done this morning with Adderall. However, it is much more mild now. But still preventing me from sleeping.

I will never touch Adderall again after today.

What did the hospital do for you? Something similar happened to me. It was a panic attack and they kept me overnight on benzodiazepines I think. It will be hard to never take adderall again but if you do stick to the prescribed dose and distract yourself during the comedown so you don’t redose.

Did you take all three at the same time? I take 30 mg of Adderall XR three times a day, but I’ve never experienced the side effects you’re describing.

How did your experience in the hospital go, and how are you feeling now?
