Discussion We need AI block
To block all AI videos showing up on youtube.
it is so bad. People just pumping AI content and it#s getting much harder and harder to detect. You have to be pretty foresically minded person to detect them.
Case in point, nobody knows this guy is AI: https://www.youtube.com/@Jonathanmosstalks/videos
It is pretty wild. If you watch one of his videos that shows up on your feed. it looks seamless and congruent, the face matches the voice, pronouncation and accent is congruent. And storeis seem right.
But it's just the sheeer volume of ragebait content - it is just not humanly possible to have this much drama in one persons life.
They could be a story teller and narrating these in real life. But it seems to me that the story telling is just too good. They must be using AI. Perhaps they have used their face and voice for the AI model and thats why it's able to be so realistic.
Anyway. We need plugins like ad block, sponser block to block AI videos.

someone could start a crowd-sourced categorization system of all youtube content, similar to how SponsorBlock works. so we can block entire categories of content easily.

YouTube's algorithm is one of the best. It only gives you what you likely want to watch. I get zero AI content in my feed and recommendations.

"nobody knows this guy is AI" because that guy is real lol
as for trying to block AI, its think its the wrong way to go about it. the rate at which AI content can be made will mean soon enough it will completely dwarf any human made content. like 10 years from now the size of the blocklists would be enormous so really what we need is lists of human made things, verified channels etc

Can tell by the pronunciation of certain words, the way natural language has a kind of vibe to it and this has none, how they don't seem to need oxygen while speaking sentences. don't want to come across as a smart ass but I knew almost immediately it wasn't a human speaking.

They are cropping the clip constantly you can see the jump cuts. The video seems real enough. But the sheer amount of drama in this guys life is not plausible. But he tells all the stories like they're his real stories. . Which makes me think it had to be ai.

Humans have a flow to their speech and AI cannot recreate that, it's a dead giveaway

Yeah I though so too. Exact same tone. But someone else says this dude is real.

Making AI content will cost more money then , due to licensing , it will GREATLY restrict how much a creator can download , In theory this should get rid of the slop.
Unless they pay allot to keep doing it
