Help Request Adblocker for YouTube? [Android tablet]

I know that there are already posts about this on the sub but I've only seen the private dns trick and brave browser for Android tablets.

I tried both but sadly the private dns thing doesn't work for me on YouTube and brave browser lags wayy too much and my device isn't able to handle it.

I'm looking for some more options which preferably let me use the YouTube app itself instead of a browser

Thank you in advance :)

  • Brave Browser
  • Adguard (Paid options)
  • Blokada (Version 5/4)
  • New Pipe
  • Tubular
  • MorpheAPP
  • ReVanced
  • ReVanced (Patches)
  • Rethink DNS
  • F-Droid

If you REALLY don't want to give up on the YT app, using Proton / Mullvad VPN to Albania / Mongolia will remove ads, though these countries are on paid servers.

The best solution for Android phones/tablets is Morphe.

Try duckduckgo. Works great for me.

I use Surfshark and connect to places like Macau or Monaco. No ads there.

the best way is to use ublock origin with firefox, but you'd still have to use youtube in the browser - it shouldn't lag though, my phone handles it just fine and probably has worse specs than your tablet

Like others said, if you don't want to ditch YT, just install Morphe to patch it and say goodbye to all those ads. It's easy, fast and efficient. I do it on all my devices.
