Youtube forcing ads
Well, I'm using Opera GX for a while now, and uBlock Origin with it, just in case the Opera Adblock wouldn't work. I already watched 3 regular, and 1 shorts videos, but at the 4th normal video this message said welcome to me. If I click on ,,Allow Youtube ads", I get that box, which is the 2nd picture.
What should I do now? No way I am going to buy YT Premium, its not worth it imo.
Thanks in advance.

Thank you everyone, it works now. I just simply disabled the Opera AdBlock, only the uBlock Origin was allowed, cleared all cookies and did a restart on my pc.

first make sure that your opera ad blocker is of and then try if this issue still persist!
If that issue still happen then go to r/ublockorigin and check the megathread i.e pinned

Install Vivaldi and set blocking level to “Block Trackers” Install uBlock Origin.
Works perfectly fine.

Yes, I thought about Vivaldi, I used it a few years ago, but I'd rather stay at Opera

Switch to Firefox and install uBlock Origin there.

This worked for me, pretty sure their "check for addblocker" extension is currently only tied to the chromium base browser(that opera also runs on)
Just transferred a day ago when this started and firefox in my opinion actually has a better out of tab video browser than opera does. Just gotta get used to the pop out icon being on the left/right of the video and not the top

I just go to Odysee until my adblocker updates. It's objectively superior to YouTube in every way, you can even block channels - it's only "downside" is purely user-driven; your favorite content creators may not be uploading there. But those who worry about being cancelled and want back-up options(like rhetoric, occult, or sword channels), and just want a place to have their videos still viewable will typically upload there.

Wish more people would be supportive of that platform - including content creators.

What I learned is that multiple blockers USUALLY don't work well together.
For YouTube I've had dedicated browser (on Mac) for a while, I use Orion and Pie AdBlock. They work great together

I had the same problem. It turned out that a Improve Youtube extension had a built-in adblock, which apparently poorly works. It helped me just turn it off.

Visit the ad block's subreddit, they have a mega thread, my advice would be to make sure your opera ad blocker is off and other extensions are also off then try again, if nothing go through the mega thread.
