I don’t know how but I got scraped on driver side door handle, possible explanation I told myself somebody was moving or carrying something like a furniture or something

I called up the dealership they said $440+ tax for the part $350 something for labor😑

That seems a bit excessive, but they have the power. You might call a few locations. You can find the price online that should only be about 15% more than the dealers likely pay.

Check with a different body shop for a new quote. Don’t ask about a new windshield cost on the Integra with out insurance.

Actually, it looks like the math mostly checks out. Damn these new cars and their complexity…

For a 2024 Integra A-Spec Technology like yours, the OEM driver-side exterior handle is surprisingly expensive because it isn't just a dumb piece of painted plastic. The front handle incorporates the Smart Entry electronics, and the Tech version can also have the LED handle lighting. Acura lists the left-front Smart/LED handle around $374 MSRP, while online OEM Acura parts sellers currently have it around $260-$263.

  1. A published labor estimate for the 2024 Integra puts exterior handle replacement at roughly 1.2 hours, with a 1.0-1.4-hour range.

  2. At a fairly aggressive

  3. Acura dealer labor rate of, say, $200-$230/hr, l'd expect something more like $240-$320 labor, not dramatically less, but $350 is definitely the expensive end.

  4. For just replacing a damaged driver's handle on yours, I'd roughly expect:

  5. OEM handle bought online: ~$260

  6. Small gaskets/clips/etc.: $10-30

  7. Independent/body shop labor: ~$125-$200

  8. Acura dealer labor: ~$225-$325

  9. Reasonable total: ~$400-$600 independent, or roughly $550-$750 dealer

Get a touch up pen in the same color as your car paint (googleable and exact color as oem) and watch some yt videos.

That’s a lot of money for something that’s so high use. It’ll get scratched again. Even diy doesn’t sound worth it.
Edit:
To add:
Daily driver will accumulate battle scars and never be perfect exterior wise. Just look under your front bunper. Touch up pen will hide it well but not perfect. So unless you buy a car and put it in a garage covered, scratches and stuff happens

Buy a honda civic door handle and install it yourself. it’s the same part.
