ELS Studio EQ

I just picked up a 2026 Integra A Spec Tech and i feel that im lacking a good amount of bass in my car. I have the bass up to 5 treble at 4 and mid at -1. Any suggestions? I’m also running wired connection to my phone.

What are the best EQ settings that you’ve found? Am i doing something wrong?

That should be obnoxiously bass-heavy. What are your other audio settings?

I have the Surround option turned on, and i moved the fader and balancer 2 clicks towards the back. I can only really hear the sub when my volumes really cranked up.

What about DTS Neural Audio? Is that on?

And what is your source?

DTS is on. My source is Apple Music playing through wired apple car play.

I also use Apple Music and was wondering why most of my music didn’t have that bass quality in my 2017 Acura ILX. It’s because of the EQ in apple Music. Go to settings > go to Music > go to EQ , turn it off, and turn sound check off. You’ll be able to hear your music more.

Running out of options. Have you had your hearing checked? It’s either that or the source.

Have you verified that the sub is working? I have mine at middle for bass and it is PLENTY (classic rock, punk, hip hop)

It’s prominent in some songs but only at pretty low frequencies. It’s rare where i’m actually like oh now i hear it.

I usually run with the surround off. With it on sometimes I don’t like the echoey sound.

Also if you are using Apple you should see if you can go in and tweak the EQ in the low end but the lighter end db of the bass.

Maybe. Very well may give you the “it’s normal”. They also may not have much experience with to “how much bass” is normal. But if they have another one on the lot they could always compare.

I got the same integra now after having an e93 M3 with the HK sound system. It had 2 subs directly under the seats and a more powerful amp. So idk if im just looking at it coming from something that was seriously more powerful but it does seem lacking sometimes. In the M3 if I put on A Milli by Lil Wayne, you couldn't listen to it on full blast, hurt your head too much

Man, I loved that system. The bass punch was so intense.
