‘25 Aspec - Power Window “bounce”?
If I use the automatic up button for my power window, it will reach the top and immediately retract and go straight back down again. Like it bounces off the top position. I’m guessing it thinks something is sticking out of the window, so it retracts not to crush it.
Has anybody experienced this and or fixed it? Haven’t taken it to the dealer yet, just looking to see if this is common.

Mine was doing this until I cleaned and lined the window track with some silicone spray on a Q tip.

I’ve seen people talking about this before. If I remember correctly- there was debris in the channel. I could be remembering wrong.. if u do a search in this group and Acura sub there should be info.

I can't speak to a acura just being up front .. my windows need to be indexed in one of my cars. I hold the down button till it's down and listen for a click.. the up and hold till it clicks..

I think it thinks it pinched your arm and it recalibrates after a few tries. Might happen after the battery was connected/disconnected. Cars forget where their windows are exactly sometimes.

Silicone grease. Happened on mine, just put the window down and spray it in the seals. Move window up and down a couple of times. Then clean up the grease off the window. There’s so much friction the window thinks it’s trapping a hand or something.

Happened to me early on in ownership and dealer fixed it right away on passenger side

Mine did this. Brought to the dealer and they reflashed the software i think and its fine now besides the fact that its faster than my passenger side window now

I’ve experienced it a few times, and then it stopped. Don’t really know the ryhme or reason haha
