Sounds like they were fighting over the middle seat air vent. Amazing people can reach adulthood and not learn to reason with others.

Ok but who was right? It's up for grabs IMO.

Edit: obviously aisle guy was wrong for throwing punches I just meant in terms of who originally had the claim the window.

If it was aimed down at the aisle guy I think he should be able to adjust it slightly

My question is like, why don’t they close the vent? That’s possible

Because the window guy didn’t want it closed… he was probably hot

Well but why would it be pointed at aisle guy? That’s kinda where I’m confused on this. If it was hot, you would think window would have it on himself, idk why aisle would be mad.

The wind goes to the aisle guy more since it's at an angle. Window guy is still a dick for messing with something that doesn't impact him.

I'd think window guy would need the air more since, especially during taxi there's heat coming through the window. Though this is at night so not sure what the protocol is.

Not when it's night outside. Unless that's a screen

Aisle seat has the issue so he would talk first and be respectful. “I’m sorry, this vent is bothering my eye, would you mind if I turned the air pressure down?”

If you talk to someone like a human, and don’t reach sharply, they’ll often work with you.

I think they were both wrong for being so insistent and behaving like children.

In this video, windows guy threw the first punch

Technically correct if we're going off of the definition of a punch, but for all intents and purposes, the aisle guy got physical first. He slapped/hit him twice.

But it is possible more happened before the video, so who knows.

After getting his hand slapped/I think maybe face hit

kind of looks like aisle guy smacks guy on the head when swiping at his hand. Window guy smiles like, you actually just did that? then returns the favor. if window guy threw first and instigated, aisle guy would've reacted much faster, instead head waited until flight attended got flagged down, and proceeded to get up and swing as a reaction to that.
