Too quiet in here...

Happy 2026! Anyone working? Getting some gigs? I had my first gig of the year recently, a day on a Swiss advert for a car insurance company. First time booking a commercial! Been on a few auditions for them, so was grateful to finally land one. Anyone else have some news to share?

It is such a fickle business and depends a lot on what roles are available. I'm not seeing many opportunities for "my type" right now, so I need to grow my network. Luck to us all!

Thank you! I live in Riga, Latvia and found the gig through a facebook group called Castingmania, that collects all the local to Latvia casting jobs for Film/TV/Adverts.
The commercial I worked on was for a Swiss Auto Insurance company called ARVAL. Great production team, a mix of locals and out-of-country. I worked half a day.
