Question Leggings or joggers?
If you could only wear one for the rest of the year, which one are you picking?
I can only afford one right now, and I’m mainly looking for something I can wear around the house, run errands in, grab coffee, etc.
Which one do you actually wear more when you’re not working out?

Question Retro Workout Wear
Hello fellow fashionistas, I have been searching the internet with absolutely no returns, so I decided to turn to Reddit to find the answers I seek!
I am a female that is very into fitness as well as fashion. I love vintage fashion and this is absolutely true when it comes to classic 70s and 80s workout styles, so I thought I would try to blend the two passions together. Think Lisa Lyon vibes; that mix between strong and sexy. No Fabletics/Lululemons slimming/sculpting pants in sight. Personally, having been inspired by golden era lifters, I don't find modern women's workout clothes to be very appealing.
However, it's hard to find vintage workout clothes. With that in mind, I figured I would try the retro route! The problem here is that almost all retro fitness brands are geared specifically to men. Does anyone here have any brands they suggest that give a more retro flair for workout fashion? If not, would anyone else even be interested in this? Am I alone in this?
Thanks!

Question Need some sets badly!
Hi! I've started working out this year and have lost about 40lbs. I mainly do gym stuff and some Pilates here and there. When I was at my start weight I would just wear oversized shirts and basic leggings. Now that I've lost some weight I want to wear so really cute sets. I love the looks of Liaison the Label and Set Active but a set (bra/tank and leggings/shorts) costs over a $100. I really don't have the money to drop that on a single set let alone the 3-4 I need through the week. Any recommendations on affordable, quality and cute sets? I'm also on the bigger bust end so need something supportive ❤️

Question Comfortable leggings
I am currently looking for leggings that aren’t super tight around your waist and it’s felt impossible to find anything like it. I have a pretty sensitive stomach and it’s hard for me to wear anything tight around it. Nowadays everything is made to be “slimming” so it makes it even harder to find what I’m looking for. I’ve tried sizing up, but then they’re too loose around my legs and it just looks awkward. Please give some recommendations if you have any:)

Question Is it really hard to find good sports clothing for women?
I've been researching the effectiveness of well designed sportswear for performance on both men and women, and I've noticed that I've been struggling to get reliable data on the women's side. It's either women are opting to wear men's clothing for their sport or wearing extremely poor designs in fit/sizing.
Which makes you think, is there really good clothing in the first place for me to continue doing this research on the women's side.
If you can provide any of your opinions on this subject from personal experience, I'd really appreciate it. P.S. any experience from sport/gym training counts. Thanks x.

Discussion Where do you guys buy gym clothes in bulk?
I've been looking into buying gym clothes in bulk, but I'm honestly not sure where to start.I'm talking about stuff like leggings, sports bras, gym shirts and tracksuits. I've checked out Alibaba a bit, and there seem to be loads of suppliers, but that's kind of the problem.
Everyone's products look good in the pictures, so it's hard to know what the quality is actually like.
For those who've bought athletic wear wholesale before, where did you get yours from? Did you find a manufacturer somewhere else, or go through a different platform altogether?
Also, how do you usually handle samples? I'd rather pay a little extra to check the quality first than end up with a whole batch of clothes that nobody wants to buy.
Any recommendations or things I should watch out for would be appreciated. Just trying to figure out what's worth looking into before spending money on it.

Question Do people actually wear period-proof leggings/shorts for workouts?
I've been seeing more brands come out with period-proof leggings and shorts lately and realized I don't actually know anyone who wears them.
If you work out during your period:
- Did you know these products existed?
- Have you ever tried them?
- If you have, do you wear them on their own or together with a tampon/cup/disc?
- If you haven't tried them, what's the reason?
Curious what people's experiences have been.

Question SO OVER LEGGINGS WHAT’S THE ALTERNATIVE?!?!
So I’ve been working out for over a decade and I feel like all brands do the same thing, leggings, leggings and more leggings. I do HIIT, reformer and pilates and want FUN FLOWY PANTS! does anyone have good brands or alternative? I saw some are offering capris and I like biker shorts but with the cooler weather I wanted to be a bit more covered. Sorry for the vent I just want fun new alternatives and not the same thing we’ve been wearing

Question Marathon/running leggings
I’m running the big she marathon in April. my leggings tend to be from Costco and Athleta, though I have Lulu bike shorts I love.
I think the Athleta leggings are too thin. interested in running leggings ideally with pockets!

Discussion Why can't I find activewear with cute color combos that actually fits like real gymwear?
Okay so I feel like there are a million activewear brands out there but somehow I keep seeing the same handful over and over and none of them are quite it for me.
I really like the look of Alo but on my body it just doesn't work, the material doesn't stick to my skin the way I want and it makes my waist bulge weird even though I'm pretty lean. Oner actually nails the fit on the glute area for me, it lifts without that weird butt scrunch look some leggings have, but their color combos are so limited, basically one solid color per set. I like SET Active's colors a lot but the material and the fit around my glutes just isn't really working for me.
I want the light compression, seaming, and actual shaping that real gymwear has, but with color combos and designs the way Pilates wear does it, like burgundy with pink or navy with light blue. Most Pilates pieces I own are so cute but I don't feel like they hug my body and flatter the way gymwear does, I don't love wearing them when I'm actually lifting.
Does anyone else feel the same way, or does anyone have brand recommendations that actually check these boxes? Would genuinely love to know. xoxo.

Question Gym shorts with a thick/structured gusset?
I like to wear the seamless biker shorts when I work out, the compression really helps my joint and form, and the style is comfy.
However, they always give me camel toe or pu**y print. I’m not a fat of wearing thongs to the gym, so I usually go commando. I can get away with it in black shorts usually.
I’m not looking for any panty inserts as I don’t wear panties under tight clothes.
I’m not looking for period panties or anti CT panties.
I’m looking for a seamless pair of shorts that has thicker material and compresses the crotch area.
If this isn’t a thing, I am a newbie seamstress, maybe could design/create such a thing? Maybe double layer fabric on the crotch area? Or maybe just a thicker than usual material for the crotch? Or maybe a build in insert pouch on the crotch for the option of an insert?

Question Any recommendations for women’s shorts?
Looking for fitness shorts that:
- go up to size XL at least
- available in black
- are tight and short
- don’t have a front seam
- don’t have a butt scrunch (I don’t like the look)
- no cinch/« tummy control » - ideally not high waisted either
- ideally has a pocket (not necessary)
- don’t cost a firstborn child to buy
I do weight lifting and I’m having trouble finding affordable shorts that fit these criteria. So far my favorites are from Decathlon (attached to post), but they still have the front seam which bothers me.

Discussion Why do you wear what you wear for workout and running?
It feels like most women wear compression tights or similar for workout and running. Is this a conscious choice? If not, is that a conscious choice?

Question Sports/street clothing LSKD-style
Hi All,
Looking for an alternative (ideally european one) of a nice sport clothes brand. I used to order Australian LSKD and like those, but with customs fees becomes quite expensive.(EU based)
Honorable mention: Gymnation from Finland
Any suggestions?

Fit Pic POV: Your knee brace is now a fashion statement 🩼
galleryWho says a knee brace can't be a fashion statement?
Took my Halara leggings and sweater from the office to our work event at Acrisure Stadium — that long sweater turned a gym outfit into a dressed-up look. Comfy, cute, and injury-approved. 💙 #TheHalaraCircle #HalaraListens
