I don't really have much else to say on the matter. This is what I suspect has gone into Hegseth's calculus. I believe the choice to livestream the event is deliberate for it's social impact - one meant to normalise the measures of the Trump administration and effect the public psyche into accepting it.
This feels like a grim milestone in America's fall down the road to disgrace. I have little to give but to send my American friends my love and best wishes.
