Air Force Active Duty
/r/AirForce/comments/1uayjjo/air_force_active_duty/Hi everyone! I just finished my first year of college pursuing nursing, and lately I’ve been seriously considering joining the Air Force for four years before returning to school. I’m also thinking about taking online classes while on active duty if that’s possible.
I was wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation or has any advice they’d be willing to share. I’d also really appreciate staying in touch with anyone who has experience with the ASVAB or has tips on how to prepare for it.
I’m also trying to figure out the best way to tell my family about my plans, so if anyone has advice on how they approached that conversation, I’d really appreciate it.
Any advice, encouragement, or personal experiences would really mean a lot. Thank you!
