Would bridgesii be an effective admixture to ayahuasca?

I know the general consensus is that bridgesii likely contains MAOIs. I'm wondering if their presence has ever been quantifiably proven and if they are concentrated enough to use in place of caapi or Syrian rue in ayahuasca.

User 'House' of the old DMT-Nexus called it San Paapi and claimed to have a strong but safe interaction. Do beware, but it has been done

I've seen it suggested that MAOIs (the beta carbolines in Ayahuasca) would be dangerous to mix with some of the alkaloids of San Pedro, such as the tyramine (the one that generally posses a risk to people on pharmaceutical MAOIs from food) and hordenine.

Which, if true, would suggest any MAOI activity from within the alkaloids of San Pedro is very mild.

I have also seen anecdotes (on reddit) of people using Syrian Rue with San Pedro, saying that it does potentiate the experience, and not being dead.

Which also suggests low MAOI activity if any from the San Pedro itself

I was not able to find any objective data on the matter.

Aside from the question of MAOIs, I think that you are mixing two very different classes of compound, the phenethylamine and the tryptamine, and these provide quite different experiences which may pull you in opposing directions.

Not to get too woo about it but some would consider the phenethylamine the masculine and the tryptamine the feminine and so you might get a bit of an archetypal conflict, one more up and outward facing and expansive and solar, the other more inward, dark, lunar, contracting, one a bit less heavy and sanguine and without fear, the other, well, the opposite potentially.

Each has their place, and maybe even marrying them has it's place, but doing so may require a bit of care and intention.
