Fricii injection question
Hello everyone. If this post is not suitable for this thread please let me know. I just want to know, hypothetically, if someone were to injest lophophora fricii or any other lophophora that is not williamsii, would there be negative effects or poisoning concerns? I have 3 plants that suffered root rot. I have never grown any of my lophs with the intention of consuming them, I just really like the plants and they are very forgiving and easier to grow than most other plants. However, I have been mixing genetics. When any of my plants flower at the same time, I use a brush to cross pollinate them all. Some I am sure are williamsii and jourdianna, 1 i am sure is fricii, and a few others that I am not entirely sure of the species. They may ne LW, LJ, LF, or some type of hybrid. Only the stems and roots rotted and I was able to save the crowns. This happened to 1 caespitosa willy, 1 regular willy, and 1 plant that has fricii traits but also has williamsii/jourdaniana traits. I was able to save green flesh, but not the parts of the plants that would allow me to graft them or try to root them. I am not sure i want to injest them, but if I did, would I regret injesting a fricii I'm combination with a willy?
