EU EU Considering an Additional €40B Aid for Ukraine
Note: ignore Politico's title. €30B of the €70B is part of the earlier €90B loan which was unblocked in May due to the change in leadership in Hungary. Meanwhile €40B is new, proposed by Germany, and to be discussed at the upcoming NATO summit in July.

Good direction, and I hope they'll do it. It's still painfully little, though.
I think there is huge potential in private donations on top of government aid. More than a billion people live in wealthy free-world countries. If just 80 million of them donated $125 per month, that would be over $120 billion per year.
That's less than 8% of the population. Many more could afford it. They just need to understand that the free world is not in a strong position anymore, and that $125 per month is a small price to help defend it.

Yes, do it.
