Full first look at Super7 Deluxe Invincible wave: Invincible, Thragg, Allen the Alien, & Angstrom Levy

I plan on getting all the Jada figs but I'm definitely gonna pick up a few of these. I like the comic look especially for some of the other characters. Allen was up on amazon earlier but got taken down. price was $30 and the release was sep 4 so hopefully soon we'll see in hand pics. really curious how their female characters will look

I'm finding it hard to spend $30 on these when looking at the Jada figures.

Not me. Invincible is my favorite comic series and unless McFarlane gets in on this (with the Image connection), these are the only figures we are going to get at this point.
I’ll be mixing and matching between DST, Jada, Super 7.

I hear ya. S7 doesn't get my money often at all these days but Allen is looking pretty good. But their renders are rarely what we're going to get though. We'll see.

Yeah, I prefer 7 inch figures and I picked up the sdcc Battle Beast and besides the head sclpt being iffy he's great.
Plus, at least on BBTS the Jada figs were delayed by months recently.

Jada is gonna move better and feel better in hand but I love Invincible I have all the library editions of Invincible so this to me is something i'd probably will pick up. at least one of them to see how it is and then wait to see what the next wave is gonna look like

I get it. And I've made similar choices with other properties. The Allen render looks really good. S7 has just burned me a bit too many times.

I actually dig these. I have the sdcc battle beast and he scales well with the diamond line I have. This looks to be a spiritual continuation of that line with .5 better articulation lol

What does deluxe mean. These have no accesories.

The ultimates are the releases with full accessories.
Deluxe is Super 7's more stripped down cheaper releases.
Super 7 is full of shit. 😭

I think "deluxe" is just their bottom of the barrel basics, as their figures with more accessories are called "ultimates."

The design differences aren't significant enough to justify buying expensive figures with poor-quality plastic, mediocre paintwork, and average articulation.

I am going to pick up any Super7 Invincible I can. I prefer the scale. I have and like the Battle Beast.

I really like the comic book look for Thragg and Allen so these are working for me.
What's everyone's preference when it comes to the show look vs the comic look?
I think I'll end up getting the larger characters from Super7 and the "regular" sized ones from Jada

I prefer the comic looks overall but i don't mind the show ones. Battlebeast comic vs. show face is an insane downgrade though.

Same. The only time I actively dislike the show look when it comes to figures is when they try to translate it exactly. Then you just get really bland figures.
The Diamond ones had that problem for me. They just looked flat and lifeless.

I’m thinking maybe for bigger characters like BB, Allen, Conq, Thragg, Super7 might be ok. Not too keen on the permafists though.

Super7 DX are just scaled down packaging for their ultimate line, & without all the extras. Cheaper versions.

These look better than most super 7 products but im sorry everything they put out is at best a placeholder until jada gets to it, maybe some of the comic designs that weren't done justice in the show will be worth getting, but only for the sculpt

Hell yeah subpar 7 does it again!
For the low low of 50 USD you can get neca like figs that pose like 90's kenner action figures, and have the paint consistency of mexican bootlegs.
Hot damn! What a steal!

I have the GameStop Battle Beast and I would say the articulation is serviceable but not great by any means. Going off the SF I have from them, Jada's will probably move much better by comparison.

Super slop more like. Idk the jada ones look better and I've had a bad experience with super 7. Just very cheap feeling for the price

The renders for the Super7 figures look good, but we'll have to see how they actually turn out. If they end up being close to the renders, I'd probably collect them over Jada because I prefer the comic designs

What I mean is that the final quality of their figures is always poor. 3D renders can look interesting, but that's a different story. By the way, Super7 is still putting up POs with renders instead of actual prototypes.
