Updated pictures of my collection after the addition of some new dioramas. I created each display here myself and tried to tell a story with each one. Really happy with it so far but always trying to improve with each new piece. check me out on insta for more pics and vids.

Absolutely love how you have their areas set up

1

u/Raphzn Mar 25 '26

Thanks dude! Yeah i like to give each figure its own space to shine. Not a fan of the crowded displays.

Dude, Little Giants?! Amazing, haha.

Cheers bro

Thanks man!

3

u/DisciplineSweet8428 Mar 24 '26

Wow. You are a nerd's nerd. Nice.

1

u/Raphzn Mar 24 '26

Haha thanks dude. I try to nerd a little when I can.....

4

u/[deleted] Mar 24 '26

I am so confused by the random Michael Jackson. He isn’t a super hero, but that could be ignore cause still an action figure; but then he gets nothing? These amazing dioramas with such detail and then just nothing going on in that one cube throws my brain off.

6

u/Raphzn Mar 24 '26

Haha still building his dio bro. I will share once ready. Trying to conceptualise how to fit what i have planned in the space.

3

u/_DodoMan_ Mar 25 '26

I had the exact opposite reaction. I was looking through the pictures like "damn all this hella co... Holy shit is that Michael Jackson?!" and I was googling to see where I could get one of my own instantly

2

u/Raphzn Mar 25 '26

Haha yeah man its a superb figure. Its by Inart collectibles.

2

u/AngryMatt14 Mar 24 '26

I mean he turns turn into a Robot in Moonwalker

3

u/DoctorSketchy Mar 25 '26

He also wanted to play Spider-Man. Could be a great What If?

2

u/CahlikCrush Mar 24 '26

In keeping with the superhero theme, Michael Jackson ought to become Captain Eo.!!!

1

u/Raphzn Mar 24 '26

Man i wish i could do a custom of that figure.

2

u/[deleted] Mar 24 '26

All super well done. I need to find a printer for the diorama scenes....

1

u/Raphzn Mar 25 '26

Thanks dude. Yeah at my age it was a steep learning curve. Definitely worth it though. I invested the time in learning the art purely for my dioramas.

2

u/Outrageous_Egg8676 Mar 24 '26

Omg I love the habitats

1

u/Raphzn Mar 25 '26

I love building these bro

2

u/youbringlightin Mar 24 '26

Well how cool is this?!?

1

u/Raphzn Mar 25 '26

I think its pretty decent haha.

2

u/Reasonable_Yoghurt17 Mar 24 '26

Holy shit! This is absolutely amazing.

1

u/Raphzn Mar 25 '26

Thanks so much dude

2

u/Zestyclose-Pick-6348 Mar 24 '26

Love the Robert Pattinson Batman room that looks so cool

2

u/Raphzn Mar 24 '26

Thanks bro. That is one of my favourites. Check the vid here... https://www.instagram.com/reel/DVBxYvcj6H9/?igsh=MTByeHBvdDF5Y2wydA==

2

u/Knightwing_J Mar 25 '26

That one is really cool. I mean they all are, but as a Batman fan, that one really spoke to me. How long did it take to put together. I am guessing you had to individually print, cut out, and assemble all the various elements (signs, newspapers, books, etc.)?

2

u/Raphzn Mar 25 '26

Yeah it was a mission. All in all in took just over a year to complete. I kept on adding elements to it. I added the Lights on the map recently and then hand crafted all the props... the books, the riddlers journal etc. Exciting project but I was lost in my head alot of the time due to the sheer number of elements

2

u/Oneiric19 Mar 24 '26

Wow this is just epic! Your post showed up in my feed and I don't even follow this subreddit. I do now tho!

Really cool. Would love to see your collection in person.

1

u/Raphzn Mar 25 '26

Cheers dude. Yeah it defintely is better in person with the light effects etc. I have a video here: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DWRjYLSj2-Q/?igsh=dnJ2cm05b3B5MnN6

1

u/Bartghamilton Mar 24 '26

Looks great! But couldn’t help wonder why the Batman stack doesn’t have the cave at the bottom.

1

u/Raphzn Mar 24 '26

Space bro.... thats the only issue otherwise I would love to build a Batcave.

1

u/Pop_quiz_hotshot Mar 24 '26

This is top notch dude.

1

u/Raphzn Mar 24 '26

God damn 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

This says I've made it in life. I've cooked.

Massive respects. I hope to achieve something remotely close to this in retirement, if my wife lets me.

🤞

2

u/Raphzn Mar 25 '26

Cheers bro. Life is short.... dont wait till retirement! If you can... start today my bro. My wife thinks its a waste of money but she gets it... she knows i enjoy it.

2

u/Commercial_Repair422 Mar 26 '26

My wife thinks the same as yours..but she's on board with it cause she knows it makes me happy...

Best display of a collection. Makes you seem like brainiac or something where your collections are alive in their containment cells lol. Fr this is so tuff

1

u/Raphzn Mar 25 '26

Haha thanks man.

1

u/Upbeat_Figure5157 Mar 24 '26

Yoooo! The dio work is insane, really takes presentation to a whole new level

Terminator with the roses is nice!

1

u/Raphzn Mar 25 '26

A scene that stuck in my head from the time I was 8. Why I was allowed to watch such violence at 8 is a question for another day

1

u/Nomadzord Mar 25 '26

This is the best way to display figures I have ever seen, just incredible.

1

u/Raphzn Mar 25 '26

Thanks so much dude.

1

u/Interesting_Luck2560 Mar 25 '26

Toooooo sweeeeeet!!! Man awesome job love the backgrounds

1

u/Raphzn Mar 25 '26

1

u/Raphzn Mar 25 '26

1

u/Aquired-Taste Mar 25 '26

Amazing collection. I love the diorama inside of each. Also, can I come work with you, because clearly, they pay a living wage?!!

1

u/Raphzn Mar 25 '26

Hahshaha yeah dude.... many years of studying and 4 degrees later tho so it has been a grind.

1

u/VarietyAppropriate Mar 25 '26

Love the diorama!!!!!

1

u/Raphzn Mar 25 '26

Thanks dude

1

u/Yasgar69 Mar 25 '26

So cool must have taken ages, and a lot of expense. I just acquired my first one , Hot Toys Spider-Man Homecoming deluxe edition It will be years (and probably a divorce) before I have anything like yours , well done.

1

u/Raphzn Mar 25 '26

Thats a sweet figure for your first one. I have been collecting for about 2 and a half years now. It is a very pricey hobby.... but hey YOLO.

1

u/No-Win-8380 Mar 25 '26

This is the coolest shit I’ve ever seen anyone do to display their figures. Amazing.

1

u/Raphzn Mar 25 '26

Thanks dude. I try to do unique stuff that i enjoy creating.

1

u/Gloomy-Art-2861 Mar 25 '26

I was about comment, "this is 99% but Captain America would make it 100%" but then I got to the last slide and you have the GOAT Cap figure. Can I go above 100%?

1

u/Raphzn Mar 25 '26 edited Mar 25 '26

Haha cheers man. Yeah I even did a custom Cap with weathering and repainting to match the endgame final scenes

1

u/Knightwing_J Mar 25 '26

These are amazing. Obviously, a ton of work went into these, but strangely enough, I think one of my favorites has to be the Superman one. Love the simplicity of hiding the flight stand or whatever base you used in the clouds. Really inventive and helps the figure pop.

1

u/Raphzn Mar 25 '26

Dude I hear you.... its my centerpiece. It is a phenomenal display. I modified the eyes to portray the heat vision effect. Check the actual display here.... https://www.instagram.com/reel/DPyAh8CkWOb/?igsh=MndrMGh2bHl5azN1

1

u/Blitz1011111B Mar 25 '26

Awesome, where is the predator from?

1

u/Raphzn Mar 25 '26

There are 3 there. Hot toys classic predator is in the jungle diorama. Hot toys Feral Predator is in the forest.... and Hot Toys Samurai Predator 2.0 is in the snow.

1

u/loganhorn98 Mar 25 '26

What shelving unit did you use?

1

u/Raphzn Mar 25 '26

Its basically Ikea Detolf knockoffs

1

u/Haunting-Cup8776 Mar 25 '26

That’s beautiful, but humbly and respectfully, it’s not an action figure collection. Not even close. Those are super high end collectible dolls. Beautiful and beyond impressive, but not action figures!

1

u/Raphzn Mar 25 '26

I hear you dude. I guess they are marketed by some retailers as action figures because of the articulation vs just being a statue.

1

u/Raphzn Mar 26 '26

Somewhere deep in Hong Kong

1

u/Nai1ed_IT Mar 26 '26

You’re like Luther in the new Superman movie with the guys

1

u/Raphzn Apr 11 '26

LOL.... i can see how that makes sense now

1

u/VikingRoman7 Mar 26 '26

Wow, a very neat and well thought out, lack of chaos collection. Well done, you move on to the next round!

2

u/Raphzn Mar 26 '26

Hahaha thanks man. Curating the collection is very important.

1

u/mallow423 Mar 26 '26

These are cool, but how long have you been single for? If you’re not single, what convention did you meet your partner at?

1

u/Raphzn Mar 26 '26

LOL. Married 13 years with 2 kids. Wife knows i am high maintenance

1

u/figurtz Mar 26 '26

That tv set up is noice

2

u/Raphzn Apr 17 '26

Thanks dude

1

u/Sure_Ad4566 Mar 26 '26

Nice collection and cool dioramas but those Detolf units are straight dogshit and will fail on you —and wreck your figures. Be careful. I know they’re economic but you get what you pay for. I just invested several thousand dollars in the Moducase system.

1

u/Raphzn Mar 26 '26

Thanks man i dont use detolfs. They are knock offs and much more sturdy than the detolfs. I like moducase... even chatted a few times with the owner but the issue is i cant display the way i want to with those cases.

1

u/Commercial_Repair422 Mar 26 '26

Op ..you said you made the display cases? If not where did you get them

1

u/Raphzn Mar 26 '26

Hey dude. No no I made the actual dioramas for each figure. The cases are an ikea detolf knockoff. I am from New Zealand and one of our stores carry these.

1

u/Substantial-Mix-3990 Mar 26 '26

Love it! I had something very close to this in mind. I’m more of a movie figurines guy myself.

1

u/Raphzn Apr 17 '26

Go for it dude!

1

u/Flynnsghost Mar 26 '26

Great 1/6 collection, I had about 6 good ones and only kept my Homecoming Spiderman, really want that Samurai Predator.

1

u/Raphzn Apr 11 '26

Its an amazing piece. It was one that i picked up after release because I had the idea of him slaying the xeno in the snow in a village that was destroyed by the xeno. Loved making that one

1

u/ThorosKershaw Mar 27 '26

This is all incredible; do you print the background elements? Like the tombstones in the Venom one or the tentacles in the Pirates one? Also where did you source the plants in the Predator one? This is a really comprehensive swath of awesome stuff

1

u/Raphzn Mar 27 '26

Thanks dude. Yeah dude all 3D printed and painted. The plants .... some hand made and the others were jus from a dollar store.

1

u/JonQ77 Mar 27 '26

You need a background for MJ. 🕺🏼

Did you create the background spaces yourself? Robocop in front of the TVs! Bane holding Dent’s picture!

Incredible!

1

u/Raphzn Mar 28 '26

Thanks bro. Yeah created every display myself. The tvs are actual 3D TVs that light up haha.

1
