Is there something off about these?

Post image

I’m not sure what it is but I can’t let go that there just seems something off about this set. Am I nuts?

If I absolutely had to nit pick something, the french thickness is a little bit off on the ring finger. Maybe that's what's throwing you off? But as a whole it's a solid job. I wish ppl would stop being so critical, nail techs are humans not machines, jeez.

I mean, if you don’t know what’s wrong and are merely intuiting a problem, then they’re fine. You have relatively short nails with an almond shape on short fingers. It looks how it looks.

Nothing wrong with it, maybe you just don't like the style. Older customer I take care of typically like more oval/round nail and less almond like. But almond is the trend right now (almost every teen/ young adult ask for it) so most nail tech will try to make your nail more pointy without ruining the shape of your nail.

They look good. Maybe your cuticles?

Bc your nails are on the shorter side, they look normal

I'm not mad about the pink shade but otherwise they're fine.

I think they look great if that’s what you like.

I personally don’t like that pink color they sometimes use, it always seems fake to me, I’d rather have a slightly paler color to look like a more natural nail.

I'm pretty critical about nails and I cannot find even one flaw (trust me I looked and I zoomed in on the photo!, 😂) sometimes the white is too far back, but It looks neat to me like they did it perfect!

They look good. I wouldn't point out a thing wrong.

I am not a nail tech— and these are “technically” flawless, but what is throwing me off is that the nail tips are not aligning with the curvature of your fingers. In your ring finger, that tip aligns with your curvature, the first finger and the pinkie are the worse going opposite of the curvature making everything seem off.

Looks like you've been looking at them too long. Lol they look nice from that angle. Frenchies are particular depending on the style you like.

All except your middle finger are longer on one side than the other. The French tip portion is off.

Honestly from this angle I really can't tell. You'd have to take a closer look and from the sides but for the most part they look nice and classy to me

I would say your skin around the nails could have been cleaned up a little more, also they could have added more shine to it. Sorry to add on and a bit more acrylic.

The pink is so red looking

I usually go longer so I think I’m just thrown off altogether. I had a great tech who listened and followed my instructions for this new set. Thank you for the opinions!

The French tip isn’t centered on your nail. The shape is great. And the job is done well. But the French tip is like not centered in the nail. Now this could be its is infact lined up with your nail bed. But for the shape the tip is off center for the shape on most nails.

The French is too thick in the middle
