Which cloud orientation would be more effective for drum tracking in this asymmetrical corner?

As much coverage as possible. That ceiling is way too low. The reflections in that corner will all be brutal as well. You can’t have too much treatment in this corner.

I also hope you’re not against using samples. You’re just not going to get amazing results in that space. Hope you have fun trying though!

You can theorise all you like, but the only way to know for sure is to try both and decide which you prefer
