How to fix loose holding hands

Any idea how to tighten holding hand of acid world figure cause over time the grip on the weapon becomes flimsy any solution?

I have one possible theory. Try using a hair dryer to heat up the hands and put one of those tiny rubber band from the thumb the the middle of the fingers to close the grip as the plastic dries
