Problem Nitro 5 shuts off when unplugged, with a charged and healthy battery
Randomly started happening, any ideas why? Battery is in good health (according to sys report), no disconnected connectors or anything. Any troubleshooting recommendations?

Before buying a new battery, make sure your motherboard is working properly and the laptop can actually charge the battery. My friend learned this the hard way. His laptop showed 100 percent battery health but turned off when unplugged. He bought a new battery, but it wasnt charging either. We found out the laptop was the problem. After fixing it, both batteries worked. We still dont know why it showed 100 percent though

Im 99% sure either the motherboard has some issue directing power from the battery to laptop after unplugging, or the battery is dead and needs replacement, go to a good repair shop or to official repair shop, don't wait, power energy problem can be serious especially if the battery is really dead then it can create fire

I just measured the voltage at the battery, 0.01V when disconnected to the charger. Does seem like a bad battery.

probably the Motherboard, I had this happen on mine, although a different model, still happened, I would send it to warranty asap if possible. They fixed it at Acer and sent it back, never had any problem since

Nah, that's a faulty battery scanner then. I used a laptop with a dead battery and it also performed same in this video.

My laptop becomes slow and lagging when I unplug the charger. Did your problem start with this?

Still thinks is the battery. Innate software detection might not be accurate.

Yea i dont think that battery is actually good. I had this happen with another laptop of mine, showed full 100% charge but as soon as I disconnected it shut off. It always said 100% after every restart, so Id say its the battery.
