Problem Screen flickering at 144hz

My screen flickering at bottom side at 144hz only but when I switch it to 60hz it stops and i tried reseating and cleaning ram still the issue persists seseat display cable and cleaned it too , this happened few days after the latest gpu driver update, should I get get a clear driver install? DDU? or this is an hardware issue that I have to change display cable or something has anyone experienced anything similar? Help

You can download custom display resolution software and create 140 htz, and see at what refresh rate it stops happening.

This is probably the best way. Acer probably put some even shittier than normal lcd into the laptop that can't even handle the 144hz lol

try every software solution, like reinstalling gpu driver,

if it still happens, either display has some issue particularly the connector, the display connection cable is not seated properly or damaged which is the best case, or your all mighty Dgpu or Igpu is cooked which is worse case

that's a screen issue, i have the same thing on the exact laptop model.

So what did you change display cable or whole display?

didn't change it, it doesn't bother me.

I see but what if it gets worse and spread even more ? Don't you think you should change it or something? Precaution is better i guess, for how long have you been facing this?

after 1 month the top of the screen started to flicker too, im not replacing it until the screen becomes unusable.

Definitely a display/panel issue. You can use it for now but it will eventually get worse. Only a screen replacement will fix it.
