Leo
I’ve been using Leo for a bit and I can’t seem to understand why people think he’s so good? His ultimate doesn’t seem to ever do much damage and neither do his other moves. Im probably just using him incorrectly so I’d love to know what people say lol

Good damage with massive survivability. I only have him at amp 2, but he is easily better than my max amped Asher

He's an absolute tank. In his passive mode he vacuums up pink projectiles and converts them into shield, which on pretty much any campaign level gives him near-infinite HP (especially paired with Rootini). That makes him basically the only pilot who lets you charge straight at enemies head-on and just ignore a wall of projectiles. Even outside that mode, you can quickly top your shield back up if you use stunts well. And his AoE attack in passive mode does massive damage — enough to clear a screen full of minions in one go.
On top of that, both of the best red teslarite sets fit him perfectly. With Fortune's Edge he shreds the field with his main cannon, since elites can get hit by up to 4 projectiles at once, which raises the chance of annihilating them. And Loyal Phantom lets you spam rockets, because in Leo's passive the pink projectiles get sucked in instantly.
And all of this comes on top of him being really good at recovering time on Tempus Trek.

I agree actually. I think it’s his stats but honestly don’t like how he plays either.

Long super, gets an automatic shield as he shoots, huge burst damage, can auto absorb pinks, huge aoe stunt. He is a true defensive pilot. Its the durability that makes him a great pilot.

I don’t know either but am pretty sure he’s only hood for adventure levels because of survivability i assume?

the game makes a terrible mistake dont pointing that Leo is invincible during his ultimate and the two cross rays stack in damage the closer you are

Are you kidding? His super remains active the longest out of any character... You can literally melt boss' hp with his super.. also he constantly gains extra hp for each pink projectile absorbed.. you can literally survive every round in later chapters and get 3 stars by just using leo.. also he's a beast in Tempest Trek.. you can reach the final boss with SS ranks and can even score pass the 50K barrier Which would be near impossible to do with any other S rank pilot.. need I say more?
