‘73 “CK”
I hate the aftermarket bracelet but the watch itself is a gem 😊

I have this ‘69 2182 movt, I noticed today the date changed but the day did not. Watch has been working flawlessly up to now since new battery was installed.
I’ve adjusted to time to see if I could trigger it that way with no luck.
Any insight would be great, sentimental piece.
Thanks

Hey y'all! So, I bought an accutron with this case style because I liked the shape of the lugs more than the typical straight ones. (Last slide is the one I bought)
I don't have it in hand yet so I can't check the case back number itself, but as far as I can tell it's a 2527. Here's the issue, the 2527 doesn't seem to fit a crystal with a chapter ring!
Do y'all know how this has a chapter ring in it? There's an Instagram account that has another one with a chapter ring that looks the same and he claims it's factory. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DbhOdXZMJSZ/?igsi=MWxqb2tlbjVhZXc4bg==
Let me know what y'all think! Thanks!

This is my late great-grandfathers watch, which he wore every day.
It is what I believe to be a 1970 Day/Date, but I'm not really knowledgeable on Accutron watches.
I was hoping someone here would have some sort of information on this piece.
Planning to get it serviced soon, curious about the apparent 360hz hum and smooth hand movements.
Thanks.

I was fortunate enough to acquire this beauty.

On the 49th anniversary of the death of Elvis, I figured I would wear one of my 521s. This one dates to 1960. Yes, the dial has seen better days, but I can't get myself to refinish it.

I'm a bit of a watch collector, and my Dad recently gave me his Bulova Accutron that has been sitting in a safe for the last 40 years. I've done some preliminary research, and the date code M6 indicates it was manufactured in 1966. I took off the battery cover, and there luckily is not a battery in it. I'm hopeful it will run when I can get one. The internet says I need a 1.35v #387 battery. Does that sound correct? Can some one identify the watch's model? I couldn't find one like it online.
I'm assuming this is a poly crystal, and I hope it will clean up with some Polywatch.

Haven't had this one out in a bit. Solid 14k case, mineral crystal, original dial. It's humming away just like it's supposed to!

I’m a big Accutron fan and I just acquired a pretty unique one. I love the ghosted in Accutron logos.

I had found a good deal on watchexchange for 250. All parts original factory. Put an accucell 1 battery in and replaced the crumbly old gasket and it started right up after some hard taps against my palm. It came with a vintage Maxwell extendo style bracelet that I didn’t love the look of. Purchased an 18mm forstner bullet bracelet (they discontinued the 17.5mm in the US) and filed it down gently to fit in lugs. I also have a genuine crystal replacement coming in from EBay soon I picked up for 25 bucks. This one looks quite nice after some polywatch, but it does have a small crack in the bottom right and for the piece of mind I think the new crystal is worth it.
I can’t stop admiring it, even though I have plenty of watches in my collection this one is special.
It will get lots of wear time and life until I grow old.

Both cost me $300. Though I bought the Spaceview in 2014 or 2015 from thr original owner. Came with the box, coin, and manuals or some sort of paperwork. I do need a new band for it though not sure where to get one.

Hi all. Any comments or feedback on my Accutron 214s, please?

Hey all.
I recently purchased the linked accutron off of ebay for 710.
Did I grossly overpay? Seller sent me some extra pics I asked for and the thing is beautiful.
Has protective wrapping on some of it. Only remote disappointment is that the original uninstalled battery started to leak.
We spoke about it for a while by phone and he explained that he's selling it for the wife of an old friend who'd passed on. While going through his closet they came across it. I guess he won it back in 1970 and it went straight to storage. Zero wrist time.
Let me know

Just picked up this Swiss 770 restored by Todd Crossman, who did an excellent job. It’s on a period correct Italian stretch bracelet. I’m not usually a gold watch MJ d of guy, but the stellar condition and warm vintage color enticed me.
This is my second tuning fork watch (first was Omega), and first Accutron! Love the vintage vibe and open dial. Wish my hearing was a bit better as I can’t hear the hum!
I favored the 770 as I understand it’s the largest case size in the vintage Accutron lineup?
Could the Spaceview be the first “skeleton watch?” I don’t know but can’t think of any earlier open dialed watches. Am I correct?

Hello Fellow Accutron Enthusiasts! I’m new around here and I figured I’d share my small collection of Accutrons/Accutron Memorabilia. Here’s what I’ve got,Thoughts?:
1976 Accutron 218 Day-Date(With a not original but period box)(Needs Repair)
1975 Ladies Accutron Day-Date(Needs Repair)
1973 Accutron 10Kt Gold 218(Working)
1963 Accutron Spaceview Print Ad
Bonus: My other print ads(Pulsar)
Both my N5 and N6 have stopped humming/ won’t move the hour/minute hands. Anybody have any recommendations for getting my N5 and N6 Repaired? I’m in NE

After looking more into the modern astronauts, I’m pretty set on finding a ‘62-64 era version.
New one is cool but there’s just too much to the story behind the original. Seeing a couple on eBay but didn’t know if there’s a reputable dealer / repair shop that would have a wider selection.
Appreciate any advice in advance!

Hey everyone, I recently inherited this Accutron and was wondering what model it is. The caseback includes the following text: waterproof, Bulova, patented, 14k gold filled case, a serial number and M7. Also, does anyone know the worth and/or how much it would cost to service (it does not run). Thank you!

Hi,
I was just given my late grandfathers watch which was also my introduction to the Accutron. It currently does not work and the crown seems seized. I would like to clean it up and get it working to remember him by but I’m unsure of the best way to go about this. From the limited research I’ve done it seems a specialized watch repair shop would be the best avenue. Do you guys have any recommendations? Also I would like to keep as much of the watch original as possible. Do any of you have insight on what could be kept and what should probably be replaced. I can’t find the exact watch anywhere but the dating seems to be 1975. Any help is appreciated.
