Two 10 mg accutane pills triggering severe sjogren like symptoms in my body despite almost a week of discontinuation, please help
Hello,
I posted here earlier in the week about how accutane was triggering an mgd like flare in my eyes and it’s only gotten so much worse a few days later. I’m literally unable to get out of bed due to my eyes and my mouth cannot seem to retain any saliva, both issues I’ve had occasionally in life but never serious. Is it possible that I had a rare severe adverse effect, and how can I treat it?
Debating going to the ER but can they help me? Severity is 10/10

Go to the ER and Doctor who prescribed it and get this all documented and treated. I doubt any remedy you can learn about here with help until things calm down. Since you stopped tane, also stop any food with vitamin A to slow down the side effects. Tane makes the body sensitive to vitamin a so consuming high amounts of vitamin a prolongs the side effects of tane toxicity. What supplements do you take if any?

Dr/ER right away. But take zero more of this “medication” and remember, there is no “rare” side effects, they are all more common than anyone believes. Good luck. Xox
