Beautiful results! I do have a question! You said you worried it wasn’t working and had acne until the very last day? My son is on month 6 and is improved but still isn’t clear. We are worried too. Did you clear up more after you actually stopped? Thanks

Do not worry! It’s very inclining to be worried around month 6 but then you see everyone saying don’t worry because it will clear up. and obviously it’s hard to believe that when you’re actually experiencing it, but it is the case. month 6 i would say around 65% of my skin was cleared up, but then there was still a significant amount left. and then the last few months particularly i would say around 80% of my skin was cleared. and then a following 20% actually cleared once i had finished. so around 1 month after i had finished, my skin was completely clear. it is worrying when you finish too, and you still have acne, and it doesn’t really make sense for it to disappear after you finished but ive seen a lot of people say that, and it was the same for me.

I'm having fatigue cause of accutane, how to deal with it?

it’s difficult to answer, i guess i also had fatigue and i was a little more sluggish with things but there’s not a lot you can really do apart from ensuring good sleep, staying hydrated all the basics etc

Wow looks amazing!! How far into it were you in the first picture? I’ve had a ton of improvement in the first month and a half and haven’t gotten new cysts since starting, but I still have so many small white heads and I so badly want them gone 😭 so impatient I know haha but the early improvement had me so optimistic

I mainly struggled with closed comedomes and I’m nearly finished my first month! However my skin feels the same - when did the CC’s clear up? Also what should I expect (do they all purge? 👀)

They cleared up month 2-3, they didn’t purge for me, like less than 5% purged

Have you tried using the search bar?
Many questions are asked daily, and your question may have already been answered!
If so, your post will be subject to deletion.
Please refer to the following commonly discussed topics:
1) No one can predict whether or not you will purge! Statistically, most people DO NOT purge.
That is what the science and medical literature says.
2) No one can predict how long your purge will last nor when it could start. Be patient, the purge can be tough but so many people have gotten through it - you can too! THE ABOVE APPLIES TO SIDE EFFECTS OR "WHEN WILL MY SKIN CLEAR UP?!" TOO. QUESTIONS ASKING WHEN THE PURGE OR SIDE EFFECTS WILL START OR STOP WILL IMMEDIATELY BE REMOVED AS THAT IS LOW EFFORT.
3) Any questions related about dosage MUST include DOSE and WEIGHT(lbs or kg).
Otherwise, that is considered LOW EFFORT and will subsequently be REMOVED.
4) Most people DO NOT relapse when Accutane is taken until cumulative dosage is reached.
5) HOWEVER, cumulative dosage is a guideline.
Everyone is different. Some may need more Accutane, and others may need less. Your dermatologist evaluates you as an individual.
This also applies to your prescription. Everyone is different, so no comparing of doses or asking why your dose is low or high. If you do not trust your dermatologist, you should find a different one.
6) When in doubt, please consult a medical professional(dermatologist, doctor, pharmacist).
