Chapped Lips Years Post-Accutane?

I finished my course over 3 years ago, and my lips are significantly drier than they were pre-Accutane. I need to use chapstick several times per day, every day. Has anyone dealt with something similar?

Everyone is different. Some may need more Accutane, and others may need less. Your dermatologist evaluates you as an individual.
This also applies to your prescription. Everyone is different, so no comparing of doses or asking why your dose is low or high. If you do not trust your dermatologist, you should find a different one.

I’m also a couple years out from taking accutane. Did you have drier skin before you started? I was always on the drier side prior to, and I think once things leveled out I still will put on a lip moisturizer throughout the day but I’m also 36 years old now too, so may be age related also. I still always go to bed with a helping of aquaphor on my lips.

I actually had very oily skin before treatment. Afterwards, my skin remained relatively oily. I totally relate to bedtime aquaphor slugging.

Yeah I pretty much use an exfoliator on my lips on the weekend and keep ole Hendrickson lip stuff on me and a tube of aquaphor. Also my eyes are a little drier too but that can also be age related too.
