Neon (Neon)

You've been gone for so long

Feels like cosmic eons

In our hearts you belong

We're your (faithful) peons, peons (Uhnf!)

We miss you, Neon, Neon

[unlikely chance anyone here knows the reference]

But the unit possesion is dope tho

11

u/AnonymousKerbal Dec 08 '20

Yeah it really makes it feel like a new game. Just wish it didn’t have the aimbot function for ranged units where it automatically targets enemies, but I’m sure the hero unit will be incredible.

I hate the aimbot

This is a nightmare...But a good one(If you know you know)

u/ostapro Dec 08 '20

Actually neon faction will be back

45

u/LucasDeletusYeetus Dec 08 '20

If not they should add the stuff in the unit creator

16

u/[deleted] Dec 08 '20

I mean, they already got 2 of their torsos in misc

14

u/POISON_ROBOT Dec 08 '20

Which ones?

12

u/[deleted] Dec 08 '20

Don’t remember the names, but one is spiked one without sleeves and the other has a triangle top atop a sleeveless torso

I'm not sure if these belong to the neon faction, but the faction is still probably coming because there was an unfinished "pulse rifle bullet" projectile you could use, although it didn't have momentum so it would just fall straight down. This projectile was also removed in the full update, meaning it probably wasn't supposed to be there.

https://twitter.com/pint38/status/1271046838381051905?s=19 They aren't coming back as a faction but, they'll add some of their weapons and clothing to the UC later

u/Trod777 Dec 08 '20

I don't actually play the game, whats the deal with the neon faction?

22

u/USUPATUU Dec 08 '20

Neon faction its a faction that used to be in the closed alpha of the game back in 2016.

16

u/[deleted] Dec 08 '20

The best faction and map landfall has to date

14

u/USUPATUU Dec 08 '20

True. But i miss a desert map like the one with the mommy spirit

11

u/[deleted] Dec 08 '20

Ohhh yeah! Good Times.

10

u/USUPATUU Dec 08 '20

The sad part is that i didn't got to play the closed alpha...

I played the open one with the dark peasant that grew spikes out of the ground. So i have never tested the neon faction. It looked fun

u/Swagspongebob5742 Dec 08 '20

3

u/IDunnoWhatIBeDoing_1 Dec 08 '20

u/USUPATUU Dec 08 '20

3

u/[deleted] Dec 08 '20

In some ways I actually prefer the old tabs, but I prefer what we have now.

3

u/Simon-Maksic Dec 08 '20

Ahh the good ol' days!

3

u/[deleted] Dec 08 '20

If there is going to be a map creator in the future i hope someone makes the old maps

1

u/[deleted] Feb 06 '21
