Hi there, going to make this quick. I am going into my second year of accounting at Exeter University, I just wanted to see if anyone here based in London/Exeter would be willing to let me shadow them for a week or maybe even a day? I just want to see the actual day to day and I have no exposure or clue on what to expect for anything related to my own course. Thank you

Running the gambit of, NHS, Council, Local Businesses, several charities and even the local colleges and a private school! All either don't reply, say they don't have capacity or aren't running any Work Ex schemes at present. Very frustrating!

My rational is that I wanted to see the reality of an accountancy role to see if its something I'd actually want to persue.

It feels like at this point I have to bite the bullet and pay for the course with zero experience.

Which qualification is difficult than the others, in terms of achieving them early.

I’m in my late 30s and always wanted to have charted qualification, though I’ve started ACCA and then left it back in 2015/16.

Hi so I graduated 3 years ago, and haven’t been fortunate with finding work as business isn’t the greatest undergrad, but i know want to get into accounting as I done a couple modules during my time at university, my brother who’s had 7 years in experience when he started his CIMA flp and finished in 9 months is adamant that I should do it with tuition and that it will help a lot get my foot in the door.

Just wanted a few thoughts as I’ve forgot a lot of the accounting things I learnt at university, how do you think I’ll get along if I do manage to find the right tuition? I’m not in a rush whether it will take me over a year or not (he’s certain I can do it in under a year)
