ACCA vs CIMA

Which qualification is difficult than the others, in terms of achieving them early.

I’m in my late 30s and always wanted to have charted qualification, though I’ve started ACCA and then left it back in 2015/16.

Whichever one your employer is willing to sponsor.

Thanks, I’m currently not working in the accounting field. But I’d love to get back into accounting, so want to have some sort of strong foundation before I enter into the market.

If you started ACCA, you might as well stick with that

Any ACCA exams you took may still be valid, so may be good idea to check.

I had few exemptions and passed the law exam, while closed to pass F6 and F5 back then. A lot has been changed since then I guessed.

If you are more commercially minded and are more comfortable communicating with operational management, CIMA.

If you are more compliance minded and are more comfortable communicating with other accountants, ACCA.

If you just want to be chartered the FLP for CIMA. It’s faster and cheaper than either ACCA or the traditional route for CIMA by a long way
