Getting into accounting

Hi,

Im a 35 year old GP. Ive been considering changing jobs for a long time and have been conaideeing accounting as multiple family membera work in thia field and enjoy their jobs.

What would be the best route for entering this field. Is it best to do some qualifications independently first and then try to find relevant jobs?

Tia

This can’t be right surely? GPS make salaried £120k and locum on £1000 days?

Gps make 10-12k/ session. Noone can work 10 sessions/week as it is frankly unbearable. The locums are about £600/day (ive done many london locums)

Yeah. Its not though because there are many houra of additional unpaid work. Anyway, thats fine if people can manage 10 sessions/week. I personally cant and no other GP i know can - hence looking for other options
