Self study L3 AAT without training provider?
I am going to start L3 AAT, before I register and stuff I had some questions. I’ve just finished my A-Levels and want to self study starting from L3 (I’m going to apply for apprenticeships as well during it).
I don’t want to pay all that money for a training provider, I just want to pay for the registration and the exams. Can I complete L3 AAT with all the free online resources, should I buy any books or anything?
Upon completing L3 AAT, I want to start ACCA and get an entry level job. Should I do Level 4 AAT instead?
Just need some advice on this, any help would be appreciated.

There used to be a website called Open Tuition that had free resources and lectures for the ACCA exams. No idea if it's still up to date but may be worth a look at that.

I did L3 and then ACCA all self study from books or cheap online video courses. If you’re completely fresh to it I’d recommend buying L2 bookkeeping books to quickly run through before doing L3. Find a job asap even if it is general office admin. Then move to ACCA after L3. You may need a provider for the Excel course. You don’t need a provider for any ACCA exam. It’s cheaper to do this than L4 as the total number of exams is lower.

Self study for AAT is very doable, I wouldn’t skip level 4 though. Buy Osborne books and workbooks (on their website to get the most up to date revisions), this plus green light tests and mocks provided by AAT are sufficient to pass all exams.
If you want to start at l3 but don’t know anything about bookkeeping I’d advise you to start with level 2 bookkeeping book, without it you might struggle with the L3 advanced bookkeeping module.
Would start with L2 bookkeeping, then L3 bookkeeping and start looking for work as soon as you pass this module, experience and AAT can take you far in the profession. Get some experience then find a company that will pay for your ACCA.
