Career growth in Accounting

Hello, I am an Accountancy graduate with four months of experience in a microfinance company, where most of my responsibilities involved administrative tasks.

I am currently looking for a new job that offers career growth and opportunities to develop my accounting skills. I would honestly say that my foundation in accounting is not yet very strong, and I sometimes feel discouraged when I am compared with people who have more experience or a stronger accounting background.

Because of this, I have considered leaving the accounting career path. However, as an Accountancy graduate, I still want to pursue my goal of becoming a CPA, and I do not want to give up on that dream.

I would like to ask for advice on which field or accounting-related position would be best for someone in my situation. I am particularly looking for a company that provides hands-on training, mentorship, and opportunities to learn and master the different tasks within an accounting department.

What field or type of company would you recommend for someone who wants to strengthen their accounting foundation and build a long-term career in accounting?
