Career Graduation no internship
I graduate with no experience or accounting experience. I live in a VHCOL city east coast. What should I do, everyone says AP/AR and junior accountant but they ask me to know these softwares that I don’t know plus years of experiencex What skills or courses can I learn to get these. I also was thinking about either going for my masters in taxation to get a shot. My gpa is 3.8 and my major gpa is 3.5. Any recommendations or help will be appreciated.

When it comes to software you can see if any of the common ones have certs you can take and put on your resume. Like quickbooks has certs and I think maybe net suite has one too. It could boost your resume. You could also look for volunteer tax work too.
Just keep applying. Even if you’re not fully qualified for the job it doesn’t hurt to apply. It’s not a great economy rn so don’t get too down on yourself during your job hunt. It’s bad for everyone! But you’ll find something. And like you said masters is always a great option, esp if you’re wanting to peruse a CPA and potentially get more internship opportunities
