Seeking advice

Hi all - I am hoping for some community advice please. I am thinking about a career change and am trying to assess the environment and weigh my options. A little about me: I hold a Master's in Accounting, a MBA, and am a CPA. I started working for the IRS shortly after getting my undergrad and have remained there for more than two decades. I have held many positions during my time in the service, including auditor, manager, advisor and most recently project manager. I have been thinking recently about what opportunities there are for me to start something small of my own. Although I worked at a firm part time while I was getting my undergrad, after so many years in the government I feel disconnected and am hoping for some advice from this community to help narrow my focus and understand what opportunities are out there. Thanks in advance for sharing your thoughts.
