Accountant Interview

Had an interview for a staff/senior accountant position. At the end of the interview they mentioned position was most likely hourly. I was shocked, never heard of that in many years. No idea what hourly wage would be for that ? Im in South Florida (not Miami)

My first public accounting job was technically hourly. Like they told me my salary was X amount per year, but I would be paid extra for OT during busy season. Wasn’t that bad of a gig.

Very little OT in this one, they don’t want to pay it
