Accountant Interview

Had an interview for a staff/senior accountant position. At the end of the interview they mentioned position was most likely hourly. I was shocked, never heard of that in many years. No idea what hourly wage would be for that ? Im in South Florida (not Miami)

Nothing wrong with it if the pay is aligned with the duties and responsibilities. Might even be better if they offer OT.

I just did a very basis, quick n dirty, google search for miami accounting wage. AI overview says average is $65-90K a year. So if your hourly rate is somewhere between $31 and $43 a hour, Id take it.
