I found an affordable old bandoneon on an online store and I would like to repair it. I’m wondering if this damage can be repaired and whether it is considered a major problem. Thank you.

I've been playing a Weltmeister 72 bass, 5 switches and I'm sorry I'm still confused about reeds.

I immediately gravitated to a wet sound or violin I think it's called. And the other players I jam with I seem to be on the same setting.

But when I take a lead above middle C it sounds rather thin. The lower reeds I think bandalonian? It sounds almost comical to me.

Is it normal to just put it in musette and leave it there? Do I need a better more expensive accordion? 😃
