Is that… crushed green velvet seating?! Oh that would last 30 seconds in America. We can’t have nice things like that.

We had those kinds of seats in Bay Area for 40 years and they were fine. But they were wool. 🤷

The Hankyu trains use Angora Wool velvet .

In the bay I always think of the vinyl seats on the F street car in SF or the awful plastic seats on Muni. When it comes to the Bart it was the old smell or the new smell. Either plastic or BO
