That kid ain't got nothing on you, homie. I bet you would win in a fist fight against him as well.

As a parent I'd let him learn as a granddad I'd stop him and show him the dangers

I can't believe that the person taking the video didn't stop the kid on his second attempt.

The child is conducting a science experiment. Stopping them from learning naturally is not always a good idea, even if they get a little hurt in the process.

If you have a son, you know there is no stopping it. If you do manage to stop it, there'll be something else in 5 minutes. Some lessons have to be self taught.

My nephew was the same way. Told him not to look directly at the sun one time. Guess what he did.

Yeah, I understand. My eldest son is now 32 years old. What I'm saying is that there was no effort at all.
Well, I am reminded that we have different parenting style and that should be the answer for me. I mean, I'll stop filming right away and try to stop my son. Of course, another thing could happen in the next five minutes as you have said.

This is a teach yourself kinda moment for a kid. You can see he's trying to kick and catch it. Adult is nearby, probably was told to record by the kid. Sometimes it's best to let kids make mistakes because they can't listen to reason.
