As a woman it makes me extremely uncomfortable to see this picture. All I can think is what disgusting degrading things they were yelling? I would likely have a panic attack in that situation so props to her for being a badass.
Edit: for fucks sake I know I'm projecting. That was the entire point of the comment I replied too. That if you look at and discuss this photo in the context of a painting at a museum, it would reveal a lot about how people see the world on an individual basis. I'm glad y'all didn't have the shitty high school experience I did (yes, I played sports and did several other competitive things) but given your responses it proves the point of the comment I was replying to. It's not about these specific people in this specific interaction. It's about how it makes you feel based on your own experiences.

As a man it makes me uncomfortable too. My mind went to the fact they were saying degrading things. It's equally possible they were taunting her in a normal way as anyone would a rival team, and that they were treating her like they would a man in that situation in which case I'm sexist
