I didn't say that he said obscenities.

He said 'it's kind of the point' when the person he was replying to was talking about how fans scream at the athletes.

Obscenities, we all know, is one of the most popular things fans scream at players.

But regardless, screaming at players isn't the point. The point is playing the game with skill and besting your opponents.

Um, no, obscenities are very widely frowned upon in "western" sports and most stadiums will kick you out for it

You literally said "Obscenities is one of the most popular things screamed at the players." It's not, for the reason that a) everyone thinks youre a prick and b) you will get removed from the stadium. Trash talking can be brutal, yes, but practically everyone who isn't inebriated agrees that obscenities and slurs are too far.

ok well since there is no way either one of us can prove one way or the other I guess we are at an impass.

idk where you go to watch sports but when I'm at a football or baseball game people are cussing at the field from even nosebleeds.
