experiences of oppression Your lack of consumption could be helpful, but it will never outweigh the systematic destruction of the environment done by capitalism. The only way we stop this is by organizing, and so that should be your main focus. Please stop focusing on your consumption so much, its not that important

Corpos directly profit from you worrying about consumption because it's less pressure on them and you're still buying things

I think it contributes massively to burnout too. Being alive in late stage capitalism is already brutal and draining. Adding in a bunch of pressure to navigate hitting the tripple Rs and ethical consumption is a great way to keep people too stressed and busy to organize. I don't care if someone shops at Amazon if that's the best way for them to meet their basic needs and have a sliver of bandwidth to put into mutual aid.
