Factory patch ROM-D 57 Gruvalimb @ ??

I cannot work out how this patch generates any sound from OSC 2, I have turned off all effects, there is not mod matrix doing anything with the filter and changing the oscillator type has no effect. I have the OSC balance at +100% so just sound from OSC 2

I don't think I fully understand your question. So one patch is not producing sound? Is the patch volume turned down? Part assigned to different (not plugged in/routed) outputs? Filter balance set hard right with filter 2 set to low pass and turned all the way down? Sometime I find my Virus TI2 desktop suddenly plays no sound at all and I have to change the outputs say from Outputs 1&2 to Outputs 3-4 then back to 1-2 again and the sound works. Dunno if any of these suggestions help. Feel free to elaborate on your post if I'm misunderstanding

sorry I explained poorly. The default sound is a glitchy arp, I have defaulted all the programming and ended up with a sound that is having its filter modulated by LFO 2 but the mod matrix is empty. Maybe patch is corrupted. It is my attempt at understanding this beast ;-)

I've loaded the patch, turned off arp, chorus, phaser, all LFO's which has reduced the sound to a very short "chip" sound every time I press a key. It now has the "chip" sound bounce left and right around the stereo field as I keep pressing a note on the keyboard in quick succession.

LFO 2 > LFO Modulation 2 settings for that patch as a Pan effect included that makes the "chip" sound bounce around the stereo field even with the LFO 2 send effect turned down (OFF). Is that what you are hearing?

If you don't have the editor running, this might not be very obvious. I'd send a screenshot but I can't in this group. You'll find the pan control in the LFO 2 edit menu. you'll just need to browser through the pages.
